13th Annual Bed Races and Pajama Sale

Bed races? You may be wondering, ‘What is a bed race?!’ Well, it is exactly what it sounds like. Local businesses and organizations compete in a race down Cottage Street in Bar Harbor, in fully decorated beds! Roll out of bed in your pajamas and enjoy the fun. Before the races begin, make sure to wake up early to get all the deals at the Pajama sale, starting at 6am and ending at noon. Get a start on your holiday shopping and get additional deals if you wear your pajamas!

When: November 11th, from 6am-12pm

Where: Cottage Street in Bar Harbor, Maine

 

5th Annual Downeast Cider + Cheese Festival

Cider, cheese, and apple tasting, oh my! Don’t miss out on the Heart of Ellsworth’s 5th Annual Downeast Cider and Cheese Festival! What better combination for the taste of fall, than a good sharp cheese and a tasty apple cider! Note: Must be 21+ to participate

Cost: Tickets are $55 per person

When: November 11th-13th, from 10am-3:30pm

Where: 25 Pine Street in Ellsworth, Maine

 

Maine Harvest Festival

Come for the 11th annual Maine Harvest Festival where over 200 farmers and food producers share their creations! From breweries, and distilleries, to handmade crafts, you’re sure to find something you’ll love! 

When: November 19th-20th from 10am-4pm

Where: Cross Insurance Center at 515 Main Street in Bangor, Maine

 

Woodlawn Turkey Trot

Trot off some of those calories from the holidays at the Woodlawn Turkey Trot! Bring a friend, rain, or shine! First 100 trotters will receive a neck gaiter! $20 for adults, $10 for ages 16 and under.

Cost: $20 for adults, $10 for ages 16 and under

When: Friday, November 25th at 9am

Where: Woodlawn Museum at 19 Black House Drive in Ellsworth, Maine

 

Robinson Ballet Presents: The Nutcracker

A holiday ballet classic, Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker enchants audiences of all ages. The perfect family tradition, the story of Clara and her magical Christmas experience, jam packed with a mouse king, toy soldiers, sugar plum fairies, and music that ensnares your senses.

Cost: $15 for adults, $10 for ages 17 and under

When: Saturday, November 26th, 2022 at 06:30pm and Sunday, November 27th, 2022 at 02:00pm
