A moderate hike, with a length of .7 miles long, the Bubble Rock Trail is one of the most visited spots in Acadia National Park. Sitting on the edge of a cliff on the summit of South Bubble, is a giant boulder that seemingly balances against the forces of nature. One would assume that this boulder would fall off, it certainly is large enough, and on the edge of a cliff. It would only make sense. But here it sits, for centuries on end, for people to come and see, and try to push it off like the sword from the stone. Will you be the one?
